In this blog: Who wouldn't buy a Tesla battery for 50 bucks?
My son recently purchased his first power bank. If this somehow confuses you, that's why I used mobile battery in the headline. A power bank is a small battery to power your electronics on the go. If Tesla makes such a battery, millions of people could get a piece of the brand much sooner...
"Tesla just updated their Supercharger map and now it shows couple of stations in Bulgaria in 2015," pops up around 1 am on August 26 in our forum. Where, I ask, I checked it out yesterday and there was nothing like that? "There's a new 2015 tab now and it shows some stations coming to Eastern Europe next year," came the short answer...
The news that Nissan now has 1,000 fast charging stations (CHAdeMO) installed around Europe (#1000 is somewhere in Surray, Englang), is great for electric mobility. To me even greater news would be to have even one of the next 1,000 stations installed in Bulgaria...
We haven't seen EV charging station mounted like that. The overhead mounting looks comfortable as the cable is free from dirty floors and you can't stumble over it...
That battery below, let's protect it even more. We're fine with Model S as it is, but the folks over at Tesla apparently decided to go one step further in keeping the battery safe...
Skinnies fit Renault Twizy, though it looks cooler in ELIA mods. You know Germans, they not only put wider tires, but also wider custom fenders. Some other Germans did the opposite, however, despite they are far from popular in doing this – BMW i3's tires are super skinny for its width. Not that we haven't seen skinny tires, but 155/70 on 19"?!?...
We like this – charging your EV without a cable. We also like that both most popular mainstream EVs – Nissan LEAF and Chevy Volt/Opel Ampera – can now be charged wirelessly...
